Continuing Medical Education Reflections on a Somewhat Different Approach
Abstract
Following are reflections and comments by a family practitioner, 27 years postinternship, on a five-month miniresidence in internal medicine, conceived and carried out through the Department of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, in the Harris County Hospital District of Houston, Texas. I believe this type of program is valuable continuing medical education, and that its value increases with the length of time the physician is removed from his student days.This content is limited to qualifying members.
