Authors: ALEJANDRO D. VARGAS M.D., FRANK E. CARLTON M.D., PETER L. SCARDINO M.D.

Abstract

AbstractSix patients with crossed renal ectopia are presented, including one case of a crossed solitary kidney, the 16th such case reported in the world literature. Because crossed renal ectopia can be confused with a variety of diseases, a complete urologic evaluation is necessary for an accurate diagnosis. Operation is indicated only to treat complications.
