Abstract
The authors attempted to study the commonly reported alteration in carbohydrate metabolism of women using oral contraceptives. They found abnormalities in glucose and growth hormone, but their significance in the long-term use of the drugs cannot be resolved at this early date. No data are available of studies before beginning the use of the drugs.This content is limited to qualifying members.
