Abstract

Perforation of the esophagus of whatever cause is a hazardous circumstance. Suspicion of its occurrence, the proper interpretation of findings, and selected diagnostic acids usually establish the diagnosis without difficulty. The authors review their cases as to cause, findings and results of treatment.
