Failure of Chemotherapy in Treatment of Giant Condyloma Acuminata (Buschke‐Loewenstein Tumor)

Authors: JOHN F. REDMAN MD, JAN T. TURLEY MD

Abstract

SUMMARYA case of giant condyloma (Buschke-Loewenstein) of the penis is reported. The use of chemotherapeutics in treating the lesion is described. Although a penectomy eventually was done, it is believed that chemotherapy may be tried initially in this slow-growing lesion without risk.
