False Aneurysm of the Thyrocervical Trunk

Abstract

ABSTRACT: False aneurysm of the thyrocervical trunk as a complication of central venous catheterization is rare. We report a case of this complication in a 63-year-old white man and review the history, diagnosis, pathophysiology, and treatment of these aneurysms.
