Abstract

Genetics has become an integral part of the clinical armamentarium of today's medical student, and with it has arisen an entirely new nomenclature. As knowledge of the genetic background of disease expands, it will gradually become part of the continuing education of physicians. This paper considers findings and possible interrelationships of genetic disturbances and mongolism.
