ABSTRACTClinical genetics is becoming an increasingly important part of general medical practice. Much of what most physicians know about this relatively new field has been learned informally. Unfortunately, this has resulted in some erroneous information being accepted as empirical fact. We have compiled this list of “genetic misconceptions” to prevent these false ideas from implanting.This content is limited to qualifying members.
