Healthcare Chaplaincy: Taking a Look at the New Model

Authors: Martin W. Feldbush, DMin, BCC

Abstract

As a boy, I could hardly wait until autumn, when I could see the new automobile models for the coming year. Although my father was a Ford man, and I had an instilled bias toward the cars built in Dearborn, I nevertheless waited anxiously to see the new offerings from all the manufacturers. After the new models debuted, however, the old models were still there, and potential buyers had some choices to make. In a similar way, I invite the reader to consider the “new model” healthcare chaplain.
