Immediate Postpartum Use of Sequential Oral Contraceptive Therapy

Abstract

Beginning the use of oral contraceptives on the fifth day postpartum is effective in allaying anxiety in regard to pregnancy. Their use does not interfere with lactation, and pituitary-ovarian function is reestablished promptly on discontinuance of the therapy.
