Abstract
ABSTRACT: &NA; Insulin can evoke local and systemic hypersensitivity responses after injection. Many individuals receiving commercial insulin preparations experience local reactions, usually of short duration. A case of severe, persistent insulin‐induced skin allergy and the use of therapy, including hyposensitization, to alleviate symptoms are discussed.This content is limited to qualifying members.
