Maternal Complications in the Delivery of Infants with Congenital Malformations: A Study of 212 Cases

Authors: JOHN K. BURNS, III, M.D., JOHN R. McCAIN, M.D.

Abstract

Congenital anomalies in the undelivered infant have serious implications. Though often impossible of diagnosis before delivery, this is not necessarily so if the obstetrician will be on the lookout for such a complication. Having made a diagnosis the potential problems and complications of labor may be anticipated.
