To the Editor:


A 52-year-old white female was diagnosed with clinical stage IIIB invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast and was started on neo-adjuvant chemotherapy with doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide every 3 weeks. The first cycle was administered through peripheral veins before indwelling catheter placement.
