Regression of Cerebral Lesions After Cessation of Oral Contraceptives

Abstract

It appears that the use of oral contraceptives is accompanied by certain untoward side effects of an incidence comparable to that encountered in a normal pregnancy. The author cites 4 instances in which neurologic disturbances occurred with signs of intracranial lesions. These regressed following discontinuance of the drug. The author reviews the contraindications to the use of the PILL.
