Abstract

The authors have applied the newer technics in photography of retinal vessels for the study of pharmacologic effects of drugs upon blood vessels. The vasodilating and vasoconstricting effects of nitroglycerin and cigarette smoking respectively are of borderline statistical significance but overall results are not conclusive.
