Streptozotocin Treatment of Metastatic Carcinoid Tumors

Abstract

This report is the first of the use of streptozotocin with apparent success in the treatment of carcinoid. This antibiotic having been found effective against insulin-secreting malignancies was given a trial in two instances of carcinoid. Further study is indicated.
