Abstract
It is well documented that the retention rates for women in academic medicine are lower than those for their male counterparts. In addition to hardships related to personal obligations/responsibilities, contributing institutional factors such as support for work–life integration, meaningful mentorship, and transparent policies are factors that may affect retention.1This content is limited to qualifying members.
