The Neuropathic Joint
Abstract
The frequency of the neuropathic joint has decreased in the past decade, particularly in the group accompanying tabes dorsalis, because of the rapidly dropping incidence of syphilis in all stages. Because of this the clinician must be “on guard” even more and think of this lesion in the person with “osteoarthritis” who presents evidence of neurologic disease. Pupils and reflexes always deserve consideration.This content is limited to qualifying members.
