Abstract
Over the years, snake venom has been used as a nonspecific agent in inflammations of one type or another with the hope of stimulating antibody formation. The authors, in their preliminary observations, find encouragement in the treatment of recurrent herpes of the cornea. Much work, and especially with controls, will be needed before its effectiveness is established.This content is limited to qualifying members.
