Abstract
Abstract: The use of femorofemoral and axillofemoral grafts has merit in selected patients. The low operative mortality and long-term patency support its application. A review is made of our recent experience with these new shunts and we emphasize the importance of the technical considerations in obtaining good results. Although these procedures do not constitute the method of routine choice in aortoiliac occlusive disease, they do offer excellent alternatives when applied appropriately in selected patients.This content is limited to qualifying members.
