Carcinoma of Lung Metastatic to the Testis
Abstract
SummaryTwo patients with carcinoma of the lung metastatic to the testis are reported. One developed a palpable testicular nodule 8 months after pneumonectomy but died 6 months later with widely disseminated carcinoma. Metastatic involvement of the testis in the second case was found incidentally at necropsy. Although secondary carcinoma in the testis supposes widespread dissemination and poor prognosis, several patients with prostatic carcinoma and one patient with renal carcinomas have carcinoma have survived for 1 to 31/2 years. This content is limited to qualifying members.
