Abstract

Abstract:Chronic prostatitis is a syndrome with great variation in clinical and pathologic findings. It is a syndrome almost without a definition. This paper attempts to bring into better focus the use and value of various diagnostic and therapeutic modalities available today. The significant difference between bacterial and nonbacterial chronic prostatitis is stressed.
