Abstract

Abstract: Subdiaphragmatic and subhepatic abscesses were demonstrated by scintillation camera studies using a liver scan and radionuclide angiogram. 99mTc sulfur colloid was used to image the liver, and 99mTc pertechnetate was used to visualize the pulmonary, cardiac, and abdominal blood pools. The diagnosis of subdiaphragmatic and subhepatic abscesses was proven at operation
