Abstract

Reversion of arrhythmias by direct current has become established in the armamentarium of the management of heart disease. It is used daily in many hospitals across the country, and by Physicians' Assistants let it be noted, not uncommonly as a lifesaving measure. The author reviews the indications for such management.
