Abstract
ABSTRACTSkin and soft tissue necrosis is an uncommon but increasingly recognized complication of coumarin anticoagulant therapy. A patient is described with extensive involvement of all four extremities and the nose, requiring amputation of three extremities. The characteristic clinical features of the disorder are reviewed, with a discussion of the pathology, pathogenesis, and possible treatment modalities.This content is limited to qualifying members.
