Follow‐Up of Epileptic Outpatients

Authors: RICHARD P. HULL MD, ARMIN F. HAERER MD

Abstract

This is a very revealing study. It is probable that the doctor who treats only casually a few patients haying seizures has little concept of the epileptic's role in society. Many misconceptions regarding employability, activity and control of seizures are dispelled by this study. Light is thrown onto the topic of maintenance of treatment. (A minority of patients discontinue therapy but probably no more than in the instance of any other disease or treatment.—Editor's comment.)
