Intracranial Metastatic Malignant Melanoma Long-Term Survival Following Subtotal Resection

Abstract

This is a report of a patient who had surgical resection of a metastatic intracranial malignant melanoma and who has survived for eleven years without subsequent therapy and with only minor sequelae. It is believed to represent the first such case reported in the English literature.
