Juvenile Diabetes: The Educational Experience of Diabetic Camp Using Programmed Instruction

Authors: JOSEPH M. WORTH, M.D., JOSEPH C. SHIPP, M.D.

Abstract

Though the authors' results with programmed learning were negative, the effectiveness of the diabetic camp as an educational experience for these children was again made evident. It would appear that a larger group of subjects and consideration of the age factor might demonstrate programmed learning to be as worthwhile as in other areas of education.
