Abstract

ABSTRACTBenign prostatic hyperplasia associated with chronic lymphocytic leukemia is relatively rare. Needle biopsy is indicated to determine the possible benefits of radiation therapy as compared to surgery. Although overall mortality is high, transurethral resection (TUR) is well tolerated and may be undertaken without undue concern. An additional case is reported.
