Primary Systemic Amyloidosis Presenting as Regional Enteritis

Abstract

An erroneous diagnosis of regional enteritis was entertained upon clinical grounds. The postmortem diagnosis of amyloidosis emphasized the importance of using selective staining of biopsy material to avoid the error which occurred in this instance.
