Abstract
A review of the available clinical and pathologic information suggests that the biologic behavior of prostatic carcinoma can be characterized by one of three different tumor-growth kinetic curves. Failure to identify the biologic potential of the tumor, as indicated by the pattern of its growth curve, can result in inappropriate selection of treatment.This content is limited to qualifying members.
