Seven Medical Proposals for the Prevention of Injury and Death on the Highways

Authors: FLETCHER D. WOODWARD, M.D.

Abstract

Everyone agrees that the toll in deaths and injuries on our highways is a shameful blot in days of enlightenment. But little has been done about it. Law enforcement is spotty, and the auto manufacturers are just beginning to become modern. The author suggests a program which would be most helpful if it were implemented. The voice of doctor-citizens should be heard.
