The Computer as a Tool in Clinical Medicine

Abstract

This review of the demonstrated potential for use of computers in everyday medical practice is most timely. This study had as one objective the demonstration that computerization of many data is no more expensive than by manual methods if the instrument is at hand. The computer offers some of the answers to peer review and the demonstration of adequate provision of health care in any system.
