Abstract

Adrenalectomy as a means of palliation very frequently provides comfort for the woman having extensive metastatic disease from cancer of the breast. As yet there are no established criteria which aid in the selection of cases permitting a predictable outcome. It is still a matter of the individual surgeon's choice.
